Especially relevant for operational environments are the Critical Entity Resilience (CER) directive, which is closely interrelated with NIS2, and the EU Cyber Resilience Act (ECRA). Both have significant consequences for vendors, operators, and service providers of operational equipment; ECRA becomes effective at the end of 2023.
